Are your shoes laced?

Shoes are required for the adventure we are going on.  We took the girls on a surprise trip that they have never been too!  They have no clue what they are getting themselves into but i know there going to love it.

We didn't tell them till we found a parking spot and got out of the car. They weren't sure of what to be excited for but they saw a lot of people walking and followed along.

We didn't have a stroller and they were going to walk the along with us. Kate of course had a puppy leash backpack held on by us. And Bella had to hold our hand the whole time. First stop Information Center to get ID bracelets.  Then we started to head down to Eco building but didn't make there first, we saw a fun kids concert that we watched them dance and do crazy dance tricks.

 The loved it!
Then we learned about how to go green. Man they have crazy solar items for camping and everyday.
Future Construction girls. Watch out there a force to be reckoned with!
And Dad learned how to put his bike on the bus bike rack. Good to know for future trips.

But by the time we left that building we were ready for a little dinner. I love corn dogs and i never eat them at home so i was going to take advantage of the fair and enjoy a dog.  Mmmmm mustard all over the corn dog is a required condiment. Kate agreed.

Daddy really wanted to check out the scooter, he even picked out the scooter he wants to get down the road. Maybe we should not do pink, or is he a real man that drives and wears pink?

Then of course food came up again of "I want....." So this time a cone of cotton candy was on there mind.  I think it was bigger then Kate's head but that didn't stop her.

Getting thru Midtown was torture. People People and more People. It was a hold on kids here we go kind of adventure. But we made it and got to go see all the animals. I think that was there highlight of the fair.
Bella & Kate really loved the horses. That's all they talked about. We even managed to see the draft horses go by. Talk about breath taking, there so large and beautiful. I loved that they even had there black shiny nail polish on for the event.  They had a couple of horse shows in the arena, nice time to rest the feet and enjoy the costumes and show.

Then again it was time to eat again. I think theres a theme going on. This time 1.00 all the milk you can drink. Score! As Kate would say. MOOOOOOOOOO

We for sure got our fill of yummy Delicious milk. Thanks MN cows! Then it was off to see more animals. The girls loved that they can pet all of them.

This mama cow just delivered this cute calf 5 hours ago. Talk about having a audience while giving birth. But as every mother knows it's no different.
My two sweet piglets. I think sometimes they even eat like the pigs. But they disagreed.

We finished up the night by doing something that both of us has not done before at the great MN get together. We went up on the space needle and looked at the beautiful view of the twin cities.

But dad didn't do so good with the height. We figured out who will be the one going on all the rides with the kids in the future. Can you guess who that is?
Bella loved it so much she wanted to go again. She gives her stamp of approval on that ride.
And home again home again after a long day of walking around the fair. My legs hurt and we were all getting a little bit tired.
Yep that's my girl eating at apple at the land of deep fried junk food.
We even managed to run into Scott's aunt Erin and her family while we were there. Crazy huh! We thanks MN state fair for the great adventure we had.
