Library Adventures

The kids are on spring break and i didn't have anything planned for days off like i have in past years. I was just going to roll with it and see where it takes us. Yesterday we had our friends over for lunch and then went to the library next to our house for awhile.  Its always fun to hang out with our friends and catch up while the kids play in the play section at the library.

Today we went to White Bear Lake to see our chiropractor to get my body back in place and maybe relieve my shoulder and lower back pain. I also wanted him to adjust Henry. That may sound weird but i heard from a few mama's that if they adjust them in the lower back area it will loosen up that muscle that tells them they have to go bathroom. We are still struggling to potty train during the night. Henry refused because the clicker he uses to adjust scared him. So the chiropractor showed me what to do and i will try doing that massage technique on him. I just wished he was able to work on him.

On the way home from there we stopped a library that just got rebuilt to check it out. It had a huge kids section that we enjoyed. It had tons of puzzles to put together, giant connect four game, computer that read books and had videos to go along with them, a tree fort with dress up animal costumes, and lots of books we have not seen at our library. We also ran into our neighbor girl who was there with her grandma. Small world!

We have a habit of checking out different towns libraries. It seems like a lot of libraries are getting face lifts and adding lots of extra resources for families to use. They also have been doing lots of after school classes, such as lego building, stem, crafts, plays, book writing, and tons more. We are so blessed to have some many libraries around our area to explore.
