Birthday Prep
The kids are back to school again after a long spring break. Henry sure misses those girls when they are gone, which is cute. But we kept ourselves busy yesterday so he didn't have time to miss them! We had to go grocery shopping and get stuff for his birthday celebrations. He was such a trooper going to multiple grocery stores, which usually is not the case. But it helped that all I had to say was we need to get this for your party and he was right next to me and helping me pick out whatever i was looking for.
The main thing we need to accomplish was a haircut for this hairy mammoth! Henry hates haircuts as much as he hates staying clean! It's been a long time since i was able to get him to cut is hair. We went to snip it hair place and they only do kids hair cuts. I went right as they opened so there was less people, hoping that would help too. The lady was so sweet and worked with all his quarks. She explained that he was feeling her comb in his hair and that was her fingers touching his head as she cut his hair. and so on. He had his hands over his eyes for a good chunk of the cut and even started off with my glasses on because he thought it would help not get hair in his eyes. That was all his idea! At the end i was nervous because she had to clipper around his ears.... Clippers and ears are his least favorite things. He only gets scissor cuts and when you turn on a clipper he totally freaks out. She walked him through it and he did awesome. So proud!
Then we headed to costco and even stayed for lunch so he could watch the pizza being made. Seriously the little things make kids days even better! Then we drove to Ramsey to get some gf bakery stuff for a party we are having tonight and some stuff for the weekend party. We party big here for our kids birthdays!
That took up a big chunk of our day and it went smooth for the most part. We even squeezed in a hour of chill time before the bus dropped the girls off and dad was home. Henry is so excited for his birthday tomorrow and he has been talking and celebrating all week. It's cute because he totally gets how birthdays work now.
Sorry i would have had more pictures but my macbook is telling me it's time for a new one. Downloading pictures from camera to computer is hit and miss and my letter E works when it wants to. You wouldnt believe how many times you use the letter e writing!!!!
