Rosie

I never thought this day of being a dog owner would ever happen again. Yep i convienced the mr. to bring a 4 legged friend into our family. It's been a long time since we had a puppy to raise. I swear they are just as much work as kids. It's like potty training my kate.
So i feel in love with a cocker spaniel on the Humane Society Website Sunday and i asked scott to be there at 12 when they open Monday to see if he was a good match with the girls. So of course i was at work checking my phone right before 12 to make sure he was going to text me as soon as he got there. My plans didnt go as how i would've liked them. He let Kate take a nap instead of going right as they open. He was gone when he got there 3 hours later. Needless to say i was one upset women and went home to saulk on the internet. For some reason i thought i would ponder craigslist to see what is happening on the pet section. The perfect title appeared. Golden Retreiver/ Springer Spaniel. And the pic was so cute of all 7 of them. So i called and he told me $30.00 I think i gasped a little in totally shock. My kind of price. I will be there in 20 min. my squeeky voice said. Load the kids up and fly there to beat the family coming at 3:30.
Now onto the hardest decision Male or Female. Sorry Scott girls stick together. Bella chose the little girl which turned out Mom and Dad really liked her too. She was the biggest of the litter and the most calmest.
I dont know why it has been so hard to name her though. Every other dog we named seem to come so easy for us. It's hard to find a name that bella can remember and say. Kate on the other hand just say "Oh Puppy" maybe there is hope for her down the road on that part. Bella has done so well with her, she takes it out to go to the bathroom and gives her treats for potting outside, and making sure she has a chew toy to play with instead of my rug. She is at a great age for being able to help with the responsiblity of a dog. On the way home from the gym bella came up with rosie and we figured it worked for her. So She is officially Rosie!
Tonight will be her first night in a crate. We borrowed out our so for the first night we had to get creative. She slept in the finest  Rubbermade tote we had. And im sure she loved every second of it. And we only had to go out once in the night. She must of corrinated her schedule with Kate and both got up at 2:30 to play.
Overall i am one happy women to have a great four legged friend back into our family.
