Snow Adventures

So everyday this week i have made the girls go outside for about a hour before we head off to the bus stop. My goal was to wear them down, and also it seems like i have had to shovel the driveway everyday because it has snowed more this last week or so then it has all season. Which I'm ok with, its a good way to burn butter {if you know what i mean}.

The girls were able to make a snowman because the temp is a little warmer today and the snow is melting ever so slightly.  They were so happy!  They have waited all season for it to do this.  Luckily dad buys pounds and pounds of carrots, so we had a carrot to place as the nose.  The girls made this all by themselves, they were so proud.

Then Bella decided they need a igloo too. So we shoveled the snow around the yard, and placed it in this circle they made.  We were not able to finish it before it was time to head off to school.  But as soon as Kate got home she  wanted to take a nap in it!  I told her she looked like a baby bird. But she firmly stated "birds don't sleep, silly!"

Which is funny because yesterday when i boiled hard boiled eggs one cracked and she got so excited because she thought the egg was hatching. Man do kids say the cutest things? I love it!
