Making Hard Choices
This week we have been having some serious conversations here. Scott's friend that he used to work with when he was plumbing went out to North Dakota. And after arriving there he is swamped and his boss asked him to get a least two guys he knows does a good job. Well he asked to Scott to come out with him and work together. But my sweet hubby is such a family man that he doesn't want to leave us again. But his current job at the temp agency is coming to a end and the company that employs him had a man quiet today. He was the guy that did all bidding. And the Walmart job that was suppose to have started by now still isn't a go yet, and not sure when it will be. So the decision of if he should go is becoming more of a decision now. The best part about he North Dakota job is it's double of what he is making now, and they have housing for him, plus meals are provided. He can go out there for two weeks and home for one if he wants. Or what ever schedule he wants to do. Plus he can visit his brother who is a few hours away from where he would be working.
I feel like the last few years it has been big decisions after another. Having a spouse in the construction business is hard. The money is nice when there working but sucks when they are on and off from work, and never has set hours.
I wish the Bio Diesel job would've called back. Either he is out of the running for the job or they haven't made there decision. Come on people we are humans at least you can do is send a email for a update on what is happening. At this point I'm writing that opportunity off and think its time to focus on what is happening now.
So I know we just need to pray for guidance and strength as we try a new path.
UPDATE! Scott got a call today that Walmart has been ready for him! He will probably be there Friday...... Wow talk about fast answered prayers!
