A Joyful Weekend

We sure had a fun filled weekend around here!  Friday afternoon we were invited to go to the Joyful Noise concert that KTIS puts on every year.  Scott and I tossed around the idea of buying tickets many times for this concert and we weren't sure if the kids would do ok or how Henry would be so we never ended up buying tickets. But when our friends Mike & Renee asked us to join them because his sister couldn't make it they thought of us.  We figured it was ment to be!  And Sherri & Al happened to be down that day so we made them join us too!  All Sons & Daughters, Gungor, and switch foot were playing that night.  Talk about three great bands.  Switchfoot sure puts on a great show.... he's wild and fun to watch. We left about 10 min. before the end of the concert, the kids were getting tired and restless and it was about 10pm.  Plus we beat the crazy crowd all leaving at the same time.

All Sons & Daughters... They were taking picture with people and then they were leaving and saw Henry and I and came back to take a picture with us even though we weren't asking to take one! There amazing... Having a cute baby on you gets pictures with bands! :)

The triplets and our girls

Saturday morning we had to get up, clean the house, and get food ready for Kate's Birthday party.  Man we were tired, going to bed really late because Henry was off his normal schedule and bed routine, the girls were super charged, then Henry was up a few times through the night too.  We ended up taking naps after everyone left the party!

Sunday was sleep in late and by noon we decided to head out to the bike store to get some parts for the bike Scott is working on for a friend, and then we went to the Mall of America. Yes that place again.... I bought a tank top at a store that broke after the second wash, but they said i had to return it to that store to get a replacement. Bummer.... So we had no choice. Man that place was hopp'n {rainy MN day = go to the Mall} parking was horrific there!  Kate ended up spending her Birthday money at the Disney store... We scored some awesome clearance! She bought a Minnie mouse stuffed toy, and ballerina outfit, and a princess wand!  And Bella was super jealous of the stuff she was getting so we let her have 10.00 and she bought a clearance Brave doll for 10.00!  What a great deal, i wish i would have bought one more for future birthday gifts. Then we headed home to do the dreaded weekly grocery trip and relax at home.

Kate received this certificate at the Disney store for her Birthday, and she thinks its a ticket to go to Disneyland. :)
