Oh what a beautiful morning
Man talk about a super rainy day here in MN yesterday. It rained the whole day and the temps were around 73 degrees but a least 201% humidity. And for us curly hair girls dont bother doing your hair, it aint work the time. Unfortunately the humidity inst going away and the temps will be super high in the 90's all week again. Summer is here.
But this morning the sun was shining and the rain drops were falling from the trees. And i think i got hit with every drop that feel from our trees. My Bee Balm finally bloomed so i went to snap a few pictures.
And while i was back there I found something my sweet little girls missed because of the rain yesterday. My girls discovered we have raspberries in the back yard by the flower garden and they love to go pick them. They even recruited the neighbor girl to join them in picking and eating the berries. Mind you its not a big plant but it does have enough berries for a trip to the backyard to enjoy. But today i got up way before they even thought to flutter there eyes. And picked every last one. And got attacked by every mosquito in the backyard.
Let me paint you a picture of what just happened as i sit and type from my office.
The neighbors guy who is in his late 50's just pulled up and started blasting oh what a beautiful morning to wake up his dad. Mind you his dad is well in his 70's. But the worst part is he has a whole mix of different soundtrack from old movies. Maybe it's a good time to close the windows and keep the house cool and maybe keep the noise down. But im so tempted to go give them a piece of my mind, better keep the peace in the neighborhood for now.
Off to paint a dresser today, wish the humidity was low it takes a long time to dry in these conditions.
