Sizzling Summer Days

Today was a hot day. It was 95 degrees and that isn't even including the humidity. Which is very super high. Everyone was cranky from the heat so we fired up the sprinkler and filled the kiddy pool. The neighbor girl lily joined in on the fun. Kate isn't much for sprinklers but love the pool. But she really enjoys holding onto the hose and spraying the girls with cold water.

Scott really wanted to make choc chip cookies but sorry i wasn't going to survive being in the house with the oven going. So he fired up the toaster oven and cooked them that way. I was going to make tortilla soup for supper but again i couldn't stand over a the stove. So i made some blueberry pancakes and called it dinner. I like breakfast for dinner sometimes anyway. I believe we are going to get a storm tonite the cloud just changed and its getting dark out now. Yeah maybe the heat will disappear and we can breathe again. I just hope the weather doesnt make me sit in the hot laundry room again. If it was up to bella we would be there already.
