baptism
Our church was doing baptism at lake johanna at the northwestern college. So we went to support and observe it. As you all may know i have not been baptised yet. It has been something heavy on my heart for some time now but I'm a stub board girl who don't like being in the spot light and especially dunked in water. But the pastor today talked about its a way to pronounce and publicly show to everyone that you believe in him. Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun. 2 Corinthians 5:17. Well Scott and i are talking about doing this together. Nothing like having your best friend at your side, sharing the experience that you both believe in together.
Ohh and when we got there today it was hot and sunny but then all of sudden the clouds appeared and started rumbling. About the time the second group went to the lake it started to sprinkle then down pour. The pastor said all of us who are watching this does not count as a baptism. Really? Cause we were really soaked. We took the shuttle back, didn't think the half mile walk with kids in the down pour was the best idea. But what a great experience it was to witness.
