Spring Like February
It's February and we were having spring like temps!!!! What a tease because the forecast for next weekend is a dumping of snow. These warm temp days get filled with so much fun activities compared to the cold winter days. We had a busy fun filled weekend, here is a glimpse of it.
Saturday morning we had to wake up early for a baby shower for my cousin and his wife that lived up north. The party started at 10 so we had to be the in laws house to drop off the boys and then back south 10 minutes to go to the party. It's always nice seeing my cousins and grandma and being able to catch up with them. Unfortunately the house had a cat and Kate and I were starting to react to it. So we had to bolt faster then we planned.
After the girls and i left the party we went to Scott's parents house and went for a long walk on the country roads. The kids joined us because they were all getting very wild and wiggly. We made it a mile or two down the road and they were done so grandma and dad came to there rescue on the golf cart to come pick them up.
By the time we got home from the walk we had to run and get to church by 4. We just made it! After church we stopped and picked up steak to grill. We do not grill in the winter, just because i don't want to stand outside in the cold. Yep true story! Oh my word those steaks were amazing.....
Sunday at our house is chill we don't plan to much on this day we just do stuff that fills us back up for the week. I escaped the house and did a target run which i have not done in a long time. I was able to look around the whole store at everything i wanted to look at. #momlife. Scott went for a long bike ride to the dam, and recorded his whole ride on his go pro camera. Kids played outside with neighbor kids and rode there bike back and forth on the street through all the puddles.
