Magic Kingdom Day 2

Today started off just like it did the day before we arrived at the park around 9:30 and the parade was going on just like it did the day before and snow white was in the same spot. I did have to laugh cause it was like gopher's day all over again!  Today we were in adventure land.

We watched the production that was going on at the castle and then headed into adventure land.

 We started with Aladdin magic flying rug ride. And if you have rode this you know that the camel spits water occasional at you as you go around. Well of course i was the lucky one right off the bat!!!!

After that we walked up the swiss family tree. The kids were like where is the ride?  Sorry it's just a cool climbing tree.

We didn't have any fast passes till later that afternoon so we had tons of time to do whatever. It got super hot early that day.  We stopped for a yummy dole whip float and seriously as i am typing this i am dreaming of one.  Dang there refreshing on a hot day.

 For lunch we had a quick serve lunch at bills western restaurant and were able to sit inside and enjoy the a/c and plan out our day.  We carried around a map and after each ride we checked it off. Our plan was to hit everything!!!!  Over achievers - sure!!!

We hoped on the boat to head to Tom Sawyer island and explore that while we waited around.

We caught the Jack Sparrow show and the girls even got to join in on the fun.  Of course after that they wanted to be him and insisted they buy swords with there money.

 We were waiting to go on the pirates of the carribean ride but unfortunately it broke down for a good hour. The crazy thing was we had a lot of delays with rides we were either waiting in or wanting to go on due to them not working. Scott blamed us!  So while we waited we went on the jungle cruise. I really thought the girls would get a kick out of this one since there so funny during the tour, but it went over the heads and they didn't get it!  Oh well!  By the time we finished that the pirates ride was back up and running!  Bella got a big splash on the mini drop... but they all enjoyed it.  The girls even chose to do the pirate treasure hunt.  They give you a map and you have to go around adventure land and find the clues along the way. They really enjoyed it. The quest uses your magic band to unlock the clues..

For Dinner we had reservations at Tony's italian restaurant.  It was lady and the tramp themed.  Very cute and classy.  Scott ordered the chicken park, and i got some kind of scampi, and the girls ordered spaghetti with meatball. After our order came they forgot they don't like sauce. They were so nice about returning it and bringing plain noodles. For dinner i got the pistachio creme brûlée, something i have never had before and it was delicious. And scott got choc cake, bella picked the cupcake, and kate wanted ice cream. It was  a delicious  filling meal.

After dinner we headed to Aerial's Grotto to meet her.  I have to admit i was excited she is my favorite princess.  It was another late night but it was a easy going, no rush kind of a day.

It was a great day but not a super late night which was nice!
