Daytona Beach

We got there around 8:30 and parked on the beach and there was very little people around so it was so nice. Paid the 10 bucks to park on the beach so we didn't have to go back and forth for supplies.

I guess we could have skipped Disney and just stayed at the beach. The girls were loving the beach life and i think they went a bit crazy.  We walked in the ocean and and down the beach and wrote messages in the sand and then all of sudden Kate just sat down in the water. Yep! Full clothes plopped down. Mmmmm of course Bella was like i can do that too! Next they began making snow angels in the sand.  They obviously don't understand how hard it is to get sand off your body.

Scott really wanted to go to Daytona Beach when he found out it was bike week happening there. We were trying to figure out if we wanted Daytona or Coco Beach and that won.  He tried everything to ge those girls to move down towards the pier so he can go look at the bikes. It resorted in Kate being carried for a long time because they were loving the spot they were in.

I luckily had a ice bucket in the car so Kate could collect her sea shells. My girl who collects everything and anything!  She had that bucket filled multiple times but forgot the ocean carries buckets away when the waves come in. So she refill again after she chased down the bucket.  It was funny to see them love this cool new place.

Scott snuck away for a bit and enjoyed all the motorcycles while the girls and i walked up and down the shore. The jelly fish were everywhere on the beach. Dead of course but they were so  beautiful to look at. It's one crazy looking fish. I even saw someone scooping one up into a ziplock bag. I sure hope they were not going to eat it later.... The smell of it i could only imagine.

Our goal was to leave for home by noon. Well we finally got the kids a new pair of clothes and out of there wet ones 30 min behind schedule. We stopped at subway and hopped in the car bound for MN. Well all the motorcyclist decided to be out riding around also and we drove like 5 miles in one hour. Ugg and then 3 semi's decided to hope right in front of us doing u turns. Scott said he was glad i was not driving because i would have done something stupid.  I'll give him that cause i would have I was mad.

We missed Henry so bad and couldn't wait any longer to see him. He stayed at grandma and grandpa Haggenmillers all week and we talked through phone calls and a few face time calls. He had a blast with them and we missed him so badly. The girls said that all week right along with us. That little boy completes our family! Our girls were at the perfect age for this trip and we didn't want the little man and his crazy wild adventures to take away from that. Someday all of us can go together.

these two are my favorite pictures i didn't photoshop or add filters that is just pure beauty

oh this was scott trying not to get his shoes wet and the water kept rising farther and farther up the beach.  we laughed very hard.
