Crazy last 4 days!
This last long weekend was so much fun! It was crazy busy but it was still fun.
Well Wed. night at 6 pm i took Bella to the Dr. to find out what is going on with her high fever and rash, and come home with meds to treat her with strep throat. Well that leaves the decision for the family that is coming over for Thanksgiving to our house if they wanted to risk getting strep. Well they all came and most of everyone had a nasty cold anyway so what a little strep!
Scott and I got a turkey to deep fry on turkey day, along with Sherri's turkey and ham she bought! Well that saying "That ot a over do it" really summarized that meal! Well the deep fry turkey was so delish and ready in 40 min. which is even better. Sherri's freezer to oven ready turkey was ready at 4 pm when she was walking out the door. All in all it was a fun relaxed day with the family.
Then Friday we did not go out black Friday shopping but we had some errands to run and that was enough work trying to get around. Then it was home to relax in our jammies! We watched Bella's friend for a couple ours and then she took our kids while Scott and I went out on a date! We went and did a little shopping and then went to the movies. Seriously why do they make movies 3 to 4 hours long? Pregnant women cant sit that long!
Saturday was another jammie day..... We made some cinnamon ornaments to hang on the tree this year! This was messy fun. But the smell is so intense in this house while your drying them in your oven! Then we lounged around till we had church at 4. Some friends of our were coming with us. They have kids the same ages as mine! And at church this week in the kids ministries was movie and jammie time. The kids were super excited about that! They all came over afterwards for dinner and then it was there parents date nite! So we watched there kids while they had time to themselves. :)
And Sunday was the day we put up the Christmas tree and decorations. That is such a chore with kids! I haven't finished it but most of it is up. I lost steam half way thru, and took a nap!We found the un open snow tubes that they got last year for a present, but lack of snow kept us from opening it! They sure enjoyed playing with them in the house!
But we did managed to build a gingerbread house and decorate it, and we finished up our cinnamon ornaments with a little glitter before hanging them on the tree. We were joking about how next year we wont be able to decorate the whole tree because the little man will be crawling and grabbing ornaments. We had a drop by visit from Shaun and Colie, Scott's friend Ryan, and Scott's friend John and his 3 kids {all at the same time}. It was a crazy busy house for the evening but all in all it was fun.
After I dropped the kids all off at school this morning, this mama went back to bed for 2 hours! Yeah for back to normal school week!
