Rewind 8 Years
Today is our 8th wedding anniversary. Time has gone so fast. It's funny to think we were just two young kids getting married and having fun. We have done so many great things since that day.
We bought our first country home a little before we got married in 2003. And spent a good year making it our home, and learning to maintain it. It's amazing how much you spend keeping up with a old farm home, there is always money to be spend there. But it was the perfect size for us at the time and we loved having lot of yard space to grow gardens and for the boys to play with there toys.
Next we got our dog Oscar, the wiener dog. It seems like you need to get animal to prove you can take car of something beside yourself. And we did. We even got him a friend to play with. Lucy. They sure enjoyed playing around the yard.
Then 2006 came the best gift someone can ever receive. Our daughter Bella. She brought us such joy and new beginnings. You already thought you were happy but when you have your own little baby it brings a whole another level of complete to you. And with a baby there comes more stuff in the house and with a small house you have to get creative. I remember when Bella was maybe 1 1/2 she walked all away across the yard to my raspberry patch to pick all the berries and eat them. And till this day she does the same thing.
2007 We decided to list our house and move to the city where we can be closer to Scott's work. Within a week and half our house sold with not a clue where we were going to go. We looked at about 60 houses and finally picked a cute house in the burbs. It was move in ready which was perfect because we found out we were expecting our 2nd baby. About 3 weeks after we moved in Scott lost his job, and ended up going to las Vegas to work till the little baby arrives.
2008 Dad arrived just in time Kate was born. It was so great to have the whole family under one roof. We were so lucky to have each other. It's amazing how two sisters can be so different but yet so much alike. There going to be best friends. About 4 months later i went to work and dad stayed home with the girls. Who knew he would be there 3 years. But now he can say i didn't miss any of her first during her childhood.
2011 We got a new addition to the family. Our Rosie the golden retriever/ springer spaniel. She is a ball of energy but a sweet dog to the family. Scott has a job again and now I'm home with the girls.
We have had a crazy roller coaster adventure but i wouldn't change it for the life of me. It has made us a stronger couple because of it. And I'm so glad I chose the Mr. otherwise my story wouldn't be the same.
Sorry no pictures of us getting married or our first house there on a cd somewhere in a box. Now i have a new task to do so everything is back up on a drive.
