Butterfly House

The kids didn't have school on Friday and we were all tired of sitting indoors because the weather was blah outside. We were needing a project, our neighbor stopped by and I was telling them that we were going to the store to look for a butterfly house to build and paint. One hour later he stopped by with a butterfly house that he made for them to put together and paint. Seriously we have the best neighbors.

We worked together on putting the screws in to hold it together.  Before we attached the roof we added sticks for the butterflies to sit and perch on. Then I made them agree on a paint choices for the house. They all picked a color and then did a ombre look with them all.

I think it turned out so cute!  We are going to place it near my flower beds in the backyard.
