Summer Break Week 11

It was the last week of summer school.... The girls are sad and so am i.... They will be home for a week and then real school is back in session. This week they have been really sassy and crazy, i think we are ALL ready for school to be back in full swing all day. I will have two kid in full time school, Crazy?

This week we didn't do all to much through the weekday. We played around the home, went to they gym for a little fun in the pool, and played with friends. This past week in the evenings when dad gets home from work we have been looking a cars. We are trying to decide if we would like to switch out our truck for a better gas car. So we thought we would look and see what our options are if we do decide to do anything. Let me tell you there is nothing to amazing out there. We did find one car that we think we may like but are still going back and forth on if it's the right car for us. I'll just say it's a car that is way different then the average person car!  It's the new ford C max Energi.

It's a electric/gas car.  I want to do more research on it and find out the thoughts of people who have one one of these cars before selling my truck!  But it gets 88mpg!!!! And believe it or not it's roomy!

Here are some cute pictures of the kids during the week

This Saturday we went down to Loring Park and went to the Chipotle Cultivate Festival. It was a lot of fun for the whole family.  We had a passport book that we had to go to certain places to learn about what chipotle does different and get stamps to receive our free chipotles. We learned about GMO's, learned about fresh/processed, how to make guacamole, and learned about the farms that provide for chipotle. They even had a kids area sponsored by applegate, which i love that company!  The kids were able to paint a square of a giant apple, they gave them a shirt to color and decorate, photo booths, giant chalkboard, and a tomato to grow in the garden. We also received a ton of samples to try.  Ben & Jerry's, life way-kefir ice cream, lizzy's, and  bolt house farm juices are just some of them. They even had a live band playing there. I say we got there at the best time right when they opened. By the time we left it was getting full and the lines were long!
