Last Day Of ECFE

Henry and I joined the local Early Childhood Family Education program at the school. We were invited by a friend to join and i was going to turn her down because this is my 3rd child what else can i learn from this program? But instead i did join it and it was exactly what i needed.  I made tons of mom friends and i did learn a lot of different techniques and why kids do the stuff they do. Henry learned how to play with kids his own age, share, and follow teachers rules.  Well the year has come to a end and we now are off for the summer. Insert sad face! I am planning on signing him back up this fall for the next class.

During this class they plan a theme out for the day and they kids get to play for the first 20 min. or so doing sensory activities, crafts, or free play.  Then we clean up the room and do circle time. In this time we sing songs, read a book and then it's time for the kids to say good bye to the parents. The parents go to another room to talk about topics that they have planned and the kids have a snack and play games, sings songs, and free play.  We meet back at circle time once more and hold hands and sing a goodbye song and then it's time to go home.

He loves it and i get adult time and then we go home and eat lunch and he is ready for nap time. I am so glad our county provides these early childhood programs they really do prepare the kids and help them grow.

Here is a few pictures from the last day of class.  Henry was not feeling sitting during circle time but he was still having fun!

I made the teachers a gift card to say thanks. Thank you Pinterest for the idea! ;)
