Easter Sunday!
Today was a day that bella has been so excited for. She couldnt wait for the easter bunny to come. We didnt have to get up and ready for church today since we went the day before. So today they were able to sleep in for a little bit but we had a schedule and i knew the chocolate in the baskets were going to be slowing us down. The wonderful easter bunny made us breakfast! Yep he made bunny shaped pancakes and fresh strawberries and even bacon. So nice!
He also hid the girl's easter baskets.
After a couple of pieces of choc. we loaded up the car + Rosie and made our way to Mora for lunch at Anna and Tims. Tim's parents came over and joined us. We werent able to have all the sibeling over but we enjoyed the day. The girls were pretty excited to be wearing there easter dresses finally, i wont let them put them on till Sunday in fear of stained dresses. And as soon as they go on it's funny how they have to twirl in them. I remember do the same thing as a child.
After lunch we flew some kites on the super breezy afternoon and blew many thousand bubbles into the wind. And no party is complete without doodles all over the sidewalk with sidewalk chalk.
It seems like when we make our way North we always have more then one stop. This time we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Anderson along with the Sabatke's. It was a really nice visit. We dont often get the chance to stop over and visit, which i miss. The kids enjoyed being outside playing with sticks and taking adventures into the forest. Bella decided her sword is safe shoved down her dress. I do wonder about her. While they played i gave Grandma a haircut. She couldn't take it anymore. I was glad to help her out.
Finally by 4:30 we loaded up again, this time super tired and getting kinda cranky we headed South. Kate,Rosie and I took a little nap to improve our moods. Got home unloaded all the bags and took the family out on a walk since the weather is beautiful and me feeling Uhhhgggg with all the junk i dont normally eat.
But over all a great Easter Sunday. Im so glad to have such a wonderful Family.
