4 Month Update

He's 4 months old and thriving!  This lil guy brings a smile to our face everyday.  Everyone ask if he is a good baby and honestly he really is....

He has experienced many new things this last month.

He's gone to the drive in movie theater
He's gone to a mini golf course
He has sat in his stroller without the car seat
He has been baptized
He has gone to the splash deck
He has gone down the slide with mom at the park
He is so close to rolling over
He has experienced 98 degree weather
He has slept through the night
He has sat in the pool with mom
He visited his daddy at his work
He has fallen asleep while jumping in his jumper
He has been to back to the 50's car show
He has gone to the library for story time
He has jumped in his jump a roo contraption
He has gone to his first motorcycle event
He has received his first lick on the face from our dog Rosie
He is starting to teeth

I was really hoping that he would have rolled over by the 4 month mark. Seriously this lil dude is so strong. He really enjoys standing when he is on my lap. He lays on his side, but his left arm is always stuck underneath his body and that is what is holding him up from rolling over.

He is still breast feeding strong, with no bottle in sight.  It makes for a struggle when mom needs a break, but his feeds are longer lengths between now. He usually goes almost 3 1/2 to 4 hrs between each.

Sleeping is one of the things i am most impressed with.  He sleeps 7 hours straight at night and then I feed him and he goes back to sleep for maybe a hour to a hour in a half. Wakes up around 7 and goes back down for a nap around 8:30 and nap around 11:30-12:00 and short nap around 2:30.  I try to plan my days around his sleep time as best as I can. I want to keep up with him being a good napper. My girls were not the best at that and i am trying to encourage better sleep with him.

He still enjoys bath time. He loves water in general. We have gone to the pool and splash deck many times this year so far and he loves just sitting in the water. I hope that continues too, I want him to be comfortable in the water.

We are still cloth diapering and loving it.  I really regret not doing this with the girls. We have our wash routine down, but i heard it will change a little through out the cloth diapering time. We recently changed laundry soap and that has made a big difference. Pretty soon I image we will have to strip the diapers to make sure they are not going to be repealing pee. Luckily the local cloth diaper store is now offering that service. It's work it when you don't have a energy efficient machine.
