Nature Exploring
Yesterday i took the kids over to the nature center to get there wiggles out and have a little fun. We first stopped in the interpreter center to check out some of the creepy crawly's they have in aquariums. There are snakes, lizards, turtles and tons of stuffed animals. There cool to look at but gross at the same time. I forgot how big the state bird is until you see it up close. Beautiful but grossed stuffed....They placed dress up with a turtle costume and butterfly wings, and then they built a fort out of pvc pipes. I keep telling scott to get some of those so they can make forts not using our dining room chairs. After exploring inside we went outside on the trails.
I brought along our new selfie stick to have some fun and let me tell you kate went to town with so many faces as she walked the trails and bella was doing videos about what she was seeing and thinking. Henry brought along a mini cooper car and was driving it up the dirt hills and trees. I have some crazy cute kids! We went down a trail that had a wood dock that sat right above a little swampy section and they all got down and looked in the water to see what they could see and they found water spiders, tadpoles, and baby snails. They were so excited to learn about them and of course they wanted to bring them all home. I convinced them that this is there home and its to fair to take them away from there mom and dad. Mission accomplished!
They even have a rock fountain that henry really loved. He even tried to drink from the fountain i stopped before that happened but he still licked his wet fingers dry! gross
By the time we left it was time for lunch and nap time!
