Apps for Newborns

It's amazing the things you can find on a app to make parenting a little easier!  Since getting a iphone, i have discovered all the great apps it has to offer compared to android apps!  I have a app called Total Baby, that keeps track of seriously everything!  It keeps track of how long you feed your baby, how long it's been since the last feeding, and what side you last feed on. Same goes with diapers and bath time.  It has been a great app for keeping track, since the Doctors asked how many dirty diapers, and how many feeding he was doing while he was going thru his jaundice stage.  Totally recommend this for any mom with a newborn!

We also downloaded a fan app..... Because mom and dad cant sleep thru the night without a fan and this way he wont get cold with a fan blowing around him at night.  Yes... you can totally laugh at me!  I downloaded this when i was at the hospital because i couldn't sleep in that super quiet room.

And just this morning i discovered a hair dryer app.... Weird... Yeah i thought the same!  But after our photo session we had yesterday, we discovered how much he likes the sound of a blow dryer.  So i looked and found a free app to add to my collection. And  Mr. fussy butt this morning fell asleep within seconds after turning that sound on.

I also found one called photo 365, it's a app that is a calendar and you add a photo each day to it.. I have been taking a picture of Henry everyday, so I can see how he will change over the year.

Seriously tired parents will do anything for a fussy baby to sleep so you can rest too!  I'm so glad these things exists today, because they sure didn't when we had my girls and i wish they did.

Yesterday we had our photo session with Cami Thomassen Photography and i'm so excited to get a sneak peak of them Tuesday or Wednesday on her facebook page.  She is amazing!  Henry was a little fussy when we first got there... But she turned on a small heater, and a blow dryer and he calmed down right away.  We did some naked ones first, then we did ones in his cloth diapers, then we swaddled him in some colored gauze material and then in a furry blanket while laying in a basket.  We also brought with a hat, and afghan his Desert Grandma made him, and his new pair of aviator sunglasses.  She even did sibling photos, and one of each the girls, plus family shots.  Cant wait to see them!
And of course i cant do a blog post without some cute baby photos
