All Play and not enough sleep!

Wow this weekend was like a whirl wind and maybe that's is why i have not gotten dressed yet!  Scott and I finally had a date night friday, thanks to Scott's brother Josh.  We went out to the MOA and dinner.  Usually that is not our go to place, we never buy anything there except food. But this time i thought it would be fun to get a little walking in and not having to be outside in the semi cold, or walking thru all the puddles.  Scott insisted we go to tucci benucch, which i was so happy we did.  I wanted to go to our favorite restraunt Twin Cities Grill !  But the food at tucci was so so yummy.  We split the fresh mozzarella & tomato bruschetta, and chicken Parmesan.  Oh man i could have ate all the bruschetta myself, it was so good. I think i said MMmmmm about 20 times while eating it. Scott even ate it! He had a look of fear on his face when he saw what I ordered and was shocked at the size of the tomatoes on the piece of bread.  He was such a trooper he ate 2 of them.  It had balsamic vinegar on top that made it taste even better. After dinner we did some walking to walk off that tasty meal.  Believe it or not we actually bought something at the mall. We stopped in Life is Good store and he picked out a sticker for his car.  For a whopping $1.50..... Crazy aren't we?

Then Saturday I woke the whole family up at like quarter to 7 to get ready to get our taxes done. We go to a place that does them for free but its first come first get and usually takes like 3 or 4 hours before there done. Which is a total pain in the butt, but cant beat the price.  Well we got there and they were full a hour before we arrived, mind you we were there at least 45 min. before they opened.  I was not happy. I think this year we are going to pay a company to do them for us. Uggg.  I did make a request for coffee on the way home after that whirl wind.  We were originally going to be bringing Scott's friend John's kids to church with us, but he forgot it was Saturday so we had to change our plans a little bit. Since it was my weekend to serve, Scott went to church without me.  But he had a friend from high school that wanted to check it out so he went to service with him.  It was baptism weekend, which is always fun to watch.

Sunday morning we had to get up early again, John was coming over with his kids at 8 to go to church with us at 9.  Sundays are my day of sleeping in and lounging around.  I didn't really want to get dressed and ready to go. But I did!  So they all came with us for church, it was fun the kids seemed to really enjoy it.  I hope that they convince dad to come back again.  This next series is about raising amazing kids.  Who cant benefit from that?  After church we were whisked away to the convention center for the motorcycle show.  Scott was so excited about going.  I on the other hand not as excited.  Then when we go there the wedding expo was going on too!  Bella wanted to go to that instead.  But no we keep walking to the motorcycle expo instead.  We sat on bikes, scooters, and watched a little stunt show. Scott and i played a game to win a price, and i'm not bragging but I totally won a yamaha hat!  And progressive was giving away small prizes as you came in and everyone got a heart badge and i scored the progressive flashlight.  I seem to do very well at these shows.  Last time i was a car show i won a mp3 player.  So next time you want a prize i guess you should take me with you!  The girls even got to use a smart board and paint a motorcycle.  They were able to print off the picture they created after. It was a fun day!  On the way out the door there was a lady eating lunch in the lobby dressed up in a sequenced pink dress. Bella sat right next to her and started talking to her.  She wanted to be just like her. The lady told her she was a dancer and Bella's eyes lite up. It was cute.

Scott and I agreed next weekend is basically going to entail lounging around the house. Here are some pictures from the cycle show.
