Preparing For road trip to Disney World

Yep it's official we are ready to do this!!!! I still can't believe we are going...... this is something we have talked about over and over and never could commit to paying the disney price.  We are taking the girls and they don't know it, which makes it so exciting and hard to keep all at the same time.  Henry is much to young to go and so he is going to spend some time with his Grandpa and Grandma.  He will get his chance later when he is ready to go!  So i have been prepping and researching like a crazy lady and the count down is on. We have the car we are taking all maintenanced up for the trip, we have our reservation booked, our dinner reservations booked, our fast passes reserved, and even a trip to the beach on the way home. It's all coming together.

I am nervous about how the girls will do on the road part of our vacation so i planned tons of stuff to keep them busy and not bored. I searched good old pinterest and picked up things that i know my girls enjoy doing.  Here is what i have planned so far.

Top Left to Right
Coloring books, eye mask for naps -plus there cute, 2 book lights for the evening, 2 bingo games with sliding tabs , 2 diy masks they can color, 2 journals with pens for writing down what they see and do
Bottom Left to Right
3 sticker books, story sketch book journal, word find

Top Left to Right
2 cookie sheets with magnets for holding paper and  activities, and also doubles as a food table, embroidery floss for making necklaces,  yarn for making a cereal necklace and for the brown paper bag puppet, beads to go with the yarn, brown paper bag for the puppets, a wipe container with crayons and color pencils  and two fun pad activities
Bottom Left to Right
dice, go fish memory card, 2 silly putty eggs, pipe cleaners for make fun stuff, glue for crafts, play dough and another memory game

My plan is to give them a new activity to play with every hour or two, so it's new and fresh and i don't hear are we there, can we get out of the car, how much farther....

I also made a 3 ring binder with tons of print out activities that i put in page protectors so they can use the dry eraser markers and erase it after they finish it.

these are just a few that are in the book

I also have made them autograph books for the girls to bring along to the park

i just took a 2 ring photo album i found on clearance at michaels and punched holes in card stock and placed inside it. We can add a photo of the character with the autograph when we get home.

I have started get some road snacks and i couldn't resist the jelly belly container at costco.... That is a splurge for me but i think it will be a fun guessing game for us to play along the way -what flavor is it??? Plus i got the kids gum and ring pops for rewards when they are being awesome!

And last but not least this came this week and i am so excited. Things sure have changed since we were at Disney last time.

This is our ticket for everything we do at Disney World. It's our hotel key, or meal plan, and our fast passes.  We each get one and we were able to pick our colors.  Eeek I'm so excited but i won't relax till we get packed and on our way. There so much to do and i have to be flying under the radar on what i am doing around the kids.  My hiding places are getting full as a prepare to go.
