Summer Break Week 6

On Monday our library opened back up after being closed for a little remodel.  You don't realize how much you visit your library when you are not allowed to go there!  Well i have to say the remodel looks amazing and the kids love there new section.  I can't wait for this fall when they start up the story time again.....

Tuesday was a quieter day for us since Bella left to go to Wisconsin Dells with a friend for a couple days.  She was so excited to go and yet nervous to leave us.. My baby is growing up and doing fun amazing stuff out with her friends.  But i have to say Kate was missing her sister terrible and was not in the mood to do to much with out her.  So lounged around the house playing in and out of the house but that was the extent of that!  She did make a few request and one of them were to make chocolate cupcakes with yummy frosting. So we loaded up the stroller and walked to the grocery store to get a few missing ingredients.  And of course she asked for a million fun things that i don't ever buy and she was to cute to say no to this time. I love being able to spend more one on one time with each kid. Henry was here still but it was nice to be able to bake cupcakes with little miss. She loves to crack the eggs!

Wednesday we had a playdate with some friends from church and at our house.  Kate was in a funk and was not herself this day. My girls do not do good without each other!  She played but was shy and quiet!  I felt so bad for her!  It was such a beautiful day that when dad got home we decided we go on a long bike ride!  We rode south along the river towards the city and then crossed over the bridge and headed north along the river on the way back. I think we rode 12 miles and one park stop along the way.  Kate rode in the back of dad's bike basket and henry was in the ibert on my bike. I love that he enjoys riding on the bike.  He's a AMAZING little boy!    Bella was suppose to be arriving back to town around midnite and spending the night at her friends and returning the next day but she missed us so i received a phone call at midnite seeing if i was awake so bella could come home. Of course i was excited to have my lady home. She slept on the floor next to my bed and talked my ear off for 45 min.  I don't think she would be able to sleep if she didn't!

she is a monkey bar girl now

see a table and you must dance your heart out and sing to the top of your lungs@

henry said he was not going to pass another park and not play on it. so we did!

Thursday was a day Kate has been waiting for all week. The friend of ours that took bella to the Dells promised Kate that she would have a day with her to do something fun. So she got picked up around 10:30 and played at her house for the mid day.  Our friend ended up taking Henry in the afternoon so Bella and I could go to the allergy specialist for testing. I thought it might be easier to do that without a 16 month old running around the room.  While we were getting tested Henry and Kate headed over to the Bunker Beach park to spend some time in the water park. I thought that sounded like fun and since i never been there Scott Bella and I joined them after appointment. I was not able to get tested for my allergies because i was suppose to be off my allergy meds 5 days prior and was off them for only 2 days. But Bella was tested and found out she is allergic to dust, dog, cat, grass, and ragweed. We are scheduling a appt to get allergy shots since she has  so many allergies and hate taking the nasal spray they gave her. Hoping the meds will help her out her eyes and nose have been running and so itchy!  We got the water park around 5 and were able to play for a few hours before they closed. We are so going back but spending the day there next time. There is something to do for everyone there. And the weekday evenings are quiet which is nice!

Friday i woke up with a plan to clean the house.  I wanted to do some deep cleaning and get rid of dog hair and dust for little miss. I brought rosie in to the groomer for a 45 fulminator brushing bath, cut, and trim. Dad got home from work around noon so he gave me a much needed break from these super crazy hyper kids.  He loaded them all up and took them to the plane and rescue movie.  They loved that movie and Henry did not to bad he said, so that was great!  I love that he takes them to that kind of stuff and is so fearless about it!

Saturday we didn't have any plans so we just all did our own things around the house and then went for a bike ride around the neighborhood.  Yes we ride our bikes that much!

Sunday we borrowed my aunts ac unit because we knew Monday was going to be a hot day and nobody likes sweating in there house to bad!  After we got that all prepared we were asked by the girls to have a picnic so we all packed something we wanted to eat and hopped on our bikes and rode to a park that is about 2 miles away. It's the lakeside park that has a little of everything. We ate under the pavilion and then played on the park for awhile. On the way home we stopped at DQ for a dilly bar! Having a dq so close by leads to us biking for ice cream on these summer days.

We had a fun busy week with a few new things we have never done!  I think i may be calling another furnace/ac guy this week for a quote.  Got to love being a home owner!
