Welcome to the Present Time.

It has been a really long time..... Life has been busy and your normal routine has not been normal. Henry gave up naps for awhile which left me no free time to sit and type to you.... How about i give you a little life update and catch you up on what we have been up to and how we are all doing!

Scott has been switched to a new job site in rosemont which we are both not to excited about. Yay he is working but he is driving a long way.  He took my prius so he get good gas mileage driving back and forth to work. We both like our cars and we didn't really care to switch but to be more fuel efficient we did it for the team!  He thinks it will be about 2 or 3 months he will be there.  He also has been busy building a bike from scratch.  He has got all his other bikes put up for winter and he has been missing it terribly already.  I have a feeling he is going to have a lot of building projects going on in the garage this winter.

Bella has had her mouth expander removed!!! She was so excited to get that out of the roof of her mouth. It was put in there to get rid of her cross bite she had. Now she has a purple glitter retainer to keep in her mouth till the first week of January. Then she will be getting 4 braces put in on the top teeth to close the gap from moving her top jaw out. She has been a trooper when it comes to all of this and she actually looks forward to all the stuff they are doing. Im excited to see the outcome of this.  She really into Harry Potter at the moment, which makes me excited. She has never really been a big reader and has struggled to comprehend what she reads. But this year her teacher has really got her to slow down her reading and encouraged her to read more. I'll take it!!!! It's funny how what mom and dad say something and she doesn't register it but a outsider will make her think differently. I guess it's true it takes a village to raise a child!  She also is going to be meeting with a speech therapist for a 5 min. each week to help her with her "S" sound. Since this whole orthodontist thing she has not been able to say that sound good and they think they can help her with it. Yay for proactive school!

Kate just lost two teeth in one day this weekend. That is just crazy! Unfortunately one tooth got swallowed when it came out of her gums.  She was so nervous that the tooth fairy would not pay her for that tooth she didn't have. She insisted on writing a note to the tooth fairy to let her know what happened.  Kate has been doing really good with the gluten free lately and her check up to see if her levels are coming down are coming up soon. Im excited to see if they are continuing to drop.  There has been a few times that she has come home complaining of a tummy ache but it's so hard to tell if a gluten exposure or if it's just a tummy ache. I wish you can just test and see but that is not a thing.   Kate too is going to be seeing the speech therapist. She has struggled with saying and hearing sounds for awhile now. We had to do a evaluation with the school to see if she qualified and she did and now we are setting up a IEP and setting goals for her this school year. She has had so many set backs but she takes each set back and rolls with it.

Henry is now out of his crib and sleeping in a twin bed now. He has changed how he falls asleep which makes our bed time and nap time routine a little longer. He used to go in his bed and he would fall asleep on is own very easily. Now he likes you to lay with him in his bed and then we sneak out when he is out. If you try to leave before he sleeps he yells no sleep mom/dad.  I will lay with him at nap time for a few minutes and then leave and he will usually fall asleep on his own a 15 min later or so. But he has scott totally wrapped around his fingers and he stays with him a long time. He is not sleeping through the night anymore either. He usually wakes around 1:30/2 am and yells for dad and he will go sleep in his bed till he has to get up to go to work.  I am praying that doesn't last much longer it's ridiculous.

I have been cleaning out the house and purging what we are storing for no go reason before winter. There is something about going through a winter that makes you want to remove half our stuff in your house. I also had to go through all the kids closet and get the next season ready. That is a task i don't like at all!  I just had a 3 month check up with my hand doctor to see how everything is going and if the medication is working. Yes it is finally working, she told me it would take around 3 -6 months to start seeing the effects of it. Unfortanlty i didn't get my meds filled in time and a few days laps, it's amazing how not taking it for 3 days made my hands hurt so bad.  I guess that is just reassurance i need to be on that.  I went to Mills Fleet Farm to find some nice super warm mittens to wear. These fingers freeze so easy and they feel like i glass!  I have been thinking i should do a little painting this winter in the house. It's been awhile since i have changed up a room color.

Well i think you are all caught back up!
