Henry's 10 month update
We are just 2 months away from the big first birthday! Crazzzzyyy! This past month he reached one of the big milestones…… Any guesses?
My lil man is a walking champ. About a week ago he did a few steps and just kept on going. He has been walking since! He will crawl when he wants to get somewhere fast but otherwise he just walks around the house getting into whatever he wants.
He weighs 24 lbs and is super healthy!
He also has 5 teeth now and is starting to work on the 6th tooth. Holy Moley! It seems like a lot for his age…… But it works good because this little guy enjoys feeding himself.
He eats anything and everything. He has started rubbing his belly when he gets hungry or when he sees us eating and he wants it. Cute! Maybe my sign language is working…. We will see. We usually give him what we are eating for dinner, and lunches are usually a fruit or veggie, and breakfast is cheerios and a fruit. He also has loves to drink water out of his sippy cup. I am hoping to continue to breast feed till he is one. But there is days where I'm done! He has 5 teeth and his latch is not the same anymore---eeekkk!
He loves to steal my phone and tap on it hoping something fun happens. He also loves to play with his stacker toys, he drags them everywhere around the house. He has tons of ride on toys that he pushes around the living room, and some times his sisters put him on it and cruise him around the house. Henry also loves to steal my cloth wet wipes and carry them everywhere. The biggest toy that is not a toy is my baking drawer goodies. I find my measuring cups everywhere and anywhere through out the house. Its a scavenger hunt when i need to use them!
Bath times are still crazy…. We need to buy one of the covers for over the spout. He gravitates to danger! He does not like getting back out of the tub even when the water has drained.
We are still cloth diapering but have to use disposable at lot recently. When he teething he breaks out in the worst rash that only a prescriptions cream will take it away. So its not cloth diaper safe! We also had to get his circumcision fixed- he had a adhesion on it from when he had it done when he was a baby. So petroleum jelly was not safe either! But diaper changes are a challenge with this super wiggly child.
He has had his first strep throat experience. Poor little man caught strep from kate! Sickness has been running through our house like crazy this year.
Henry and sleeping this past month have not been easy! With the sickness and teething you have been waking up 2-3 times a night. And every great once in a while maybe 2x this past month you slept through the whole night. (miracle). You also have this annoying habit that i hope does not continue much longer. You are asleep when we transfer you to your bed and as soon as we place you in bed you wake up and refuse to sleep. NOT cool little guy!
Some of your first this past month were~ Christmas, roller skating rink, and wedding
Here are some cute moments throughout the last month.
